What's the minimum order for printed cups?+
1,000 pcs per design, applies to all cups: paper, transparent plastic and BIO bowls. Below that the per-unit price stops making sense.
How long does delivery to Iceland take?+
Average lead times: Standard ~6 weeks, Express ~2–3 weeks. It depends on the order: size, product type, and whether you choose standard or express delivery. Stock items (plain cups, lids, straws, stirrers) are usually the fastest, custom-printed and specialty cups take longer. We give you an exact date in your quote and handle Icelandic customs clearance for you.
Are customs, VAT and delivery included?+
Yes. Every quote is all-in ISK, delivered to your door. VAT, customs and inland transport from Reykjavík port, all included. No surprise fees when the pallet lands.
How many colours can I print?+
Standard print is full-colour CMYK at no extra cost, with no limit on the number of colours or graphics on paper cups (full-bleed photos welcome). Transparent plastic: solid blocks only, no gradients. Pantone matching is available on request as a paid extra (approx. 10,000 ISK setup fee per Pantone colour). QR codes and capacity markings are supported on every cup.
Can I order eco / biodegradable cups?+
Yes. We offer three linings: standard Green PE (fully recyclable, mixed-stream), compostable BIO with water-based dispersion coating (plastic-free, home-compostable, EN 13432), and rPET (recycled plastic) for transparent cold-drink cups. Just tick the option in the quote form.
Can I see samples first?+
Yes — we prefer to do it in person. Our sales rep will bring the cups to you, show the paper, lining and print quality live, and walk you through the options. It's faster than mailing samples and you get to feel the product in hand.
Will every batch look identical?+
Paper weight, lid fit and dimensions are locked in spec, every batch matches. Colour: industry-standard ±15% shade variance between print runs (red stays red, the exact tone can shift slightly). Need an exact brand colour every time? Send a Pantone code, we'll Pantone-match it (small extra cost).
Do you deliver outside the capital area?+
Yes. We're based in Njarðvík and ship anywhere in Iceland, Reykjavík, Akureyri, Vestfirðir, Egilsstaðir, Westman Islands. Inland transport is in the quote.
I don't know how to prepare artwork, can you help?+
Yes. Send us your logo, the colours and where it should sit on the cup. Simple jobs we prepare for free; complex designs get a small one-off setup fee, quoted upfront.
Can I put a QR code on my cups?+
Yes, common for menus, loyalty and Instagram. Send it as vector or a sharp 300 dpi image. We test-scan a 1:1 print on the proof before the full run.
Will the colour on my screen match the finished cups?+
Close, but not 100%. Screens use light, cups use ink, plus a normal ±15% variance between runs. If a brand colour must be exact, send a Pantone code and we'll print a Pantone match (small extra cost).
Can I add liquid level markings (0.2 L, 0.3 L)?+
Yes, on the outside. Because cup walls taper, we measure the exact fill heights on a reference cup before locking the artwork — easiest to sort during a quick meeting with our sales rep.
Can the inside of the cup be printed?+
No. The leak-proof, food-safe inner coating also blocks ink, printing is exterior-only.
What file formats do you accept and which template should I use?+
We need an open, editable file in CMYK colour mode: editable .pdf, .ai (Illustrator) or .cdr (CorelDraw). Every cup size has its own arc-shaped template — tell us the size and lining and we'll email the right one back.
Do you provide certificates with the order?+
Yes — all relevant certificates are included free with every delivery, no need to ask.
